The Creative Writing Wiki that anyone can edit, since January 11th, 2005.

Novelas is a place where you can post all your works (and images), whether it be stories, poems, conworlds, or much more. Currently spanning 2,415 articles. As all wikis, the emphasis here is in collaboration.

Feel free to start new forum postings for your group discussions/polls and to leave messages on others' user talk pages for general communication. Any comments/ratings on any fictional work on this site should be placed in its discussion page and would be appreciated. The recent changes page shows all that people here have been working on lately; you should check it out often.

We hope you enjoy your stay. If you need any help just message a user, or use the Forum.

Though if you think "The Enemies Gate is down" is the greatest quote ever, then satisfying you shouldn't be too hard. :) --Nonimportant 18:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Another anecdote of 'story', that's all. Is Biomass supposed to be one big conworld? If so, then I suggest setting up a category for it [i.e Category:Biomass or something]. Most of the page names have (Biomass) attached to the end of them, anyway. If not, then they'll have to go in Category:Anecdotal Stories. Either way, some of them require major expansion. So that is the situation. Nashide mondai, thank you for explaining. F.<話して~!!> 19:43, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, though I'm sure there's another way to say it. And I think you mean TRANSLATE [TransLITERate would be なしでもんだい>nashide mondai]. F.<話して~!!> 01:12, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

I've temporarily brought back Galactic Codex (Biomass) so that you could retrieve its contents. As it currently is, it's not the general concept of fiction we have on this site. I read what you wrote on Talk:FS Network Mainframe (Biomass). That concept isn't on this site because some months ago we shifted all interactive fiction to the affiliated quest wikia]. Please do not put interactive fiction / "alternate reality games" on Novelas; instead put them on Quest. Conworlds are okay on this site, but conworlds are generally more encyclopedic and less interactive. YZHSig   22:24, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Conworlding Edit

Hi. I'm Yunzhong Hou. I've launched a brand-new conworld that attempts to use a new set of rights based on the Creative Commons License and 'declares void' the GNU license, so that (supposedly) whatever you submit within that project is safer. There are as of yet no rules regarding now it must develop, so you have the opportunity to give it a sense of direction to begin with as well as incorporate the content from any conworlds you might have already created. I'm trying to get others involved in this project as well. Join, and together we can have a new, better beginning.

It's at this page, the new license is here. You can leave me messages here.

Conworlding Edit

Due to recent complaints that the license here is too complicated, I've created a short summary of it here. Hope this clarifies problems.

Although Idea hasn't launched yet, we are making a list of all people who might be interested in contributing to the project. If there are at least 5, Central might consider making a site just for us, so if you want to conworld, please add your signature here. Also, we might be assigning development leadership positions to those who express interest. Development leaders will be in charge of everything related to their assigned aspect of conworlding, ie. government, economy, geography, etc.

Also, considering Idea's nascent status, voting discussion is taking place on several critical issues. Please visit this page to voice your opinion on the matters.

For those who are wondering, you don't need to get permission from anyone to join in. It's an all-new project I initiated, and everyone is allowed to participate freely in a democratic environment. Even if you are currently working on another project, I strongly encourage you to sign up because you might find it interesting later on.

Ficciones Edit

Hi there. There is a new Spanish Fiction Wikia at Ficciones Wikia. It is multilingual: Spanish, English and French, for the moment. If you are a Spanish writer, you can go there. English works are also welcome. David 21:56, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
