Novelas is the site to post your stories and creative writing projects, and where a community can collaborate with the writing effort.

Novelas is a site hosted by Wikia with the goal of being a repository and forum for writers to submit works, collaborate on works, and comment on others' works. Writers can edit almost any page in this site, as well as move them to another page name and add them to their watchlist. Contributions are recorded in the histories of individual pages and in the logs for the writers.

  • (159 pages) Atrapado en el tiempo / Category:Atrapado - this grouping contains 90+ pieces and is in Spanish. Noted for its use of subpages in the format of A/B/C/... etc; very organized format.
  • (119 pages) Minus Maze / Category:Minus Maze - a dungeon-maze, currently has one complete level.
  • (73 pages) Quest / Category:Quest - currently with two quests completed, this project is attuned toward solving problems. Warning: you have to be smart to solve it.
  • (23 pages) WorldWiki / Category:WorldWiki - geographically based, has a lot of descriptions and a lot of tiny pages. Navigation is awkward, but it does have a map.

What should we do with all the various ways in which fiction on this site is organized? Should we just let it sit, with some pages unorganized, some pages using Template:Cover with article-covers, and some pages using Template:C with category-covers?    22:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

  • New lengths assigned for Novels, Novellas, and Short Stories, with new Long Stories list
  • Many new stories from the Basilicus wikia are in!
  • Revised Sitenotice, with easier to reach, wider search bar
  • Many new active stories, mostly from new User:Ex Machina
  • Edittools section introduced, allowing easy insert of non-standard characters

[edit] Initiation of the new Community portal

We have gone full circle, from community portal to new main page to portals to forums and back--to the community portal. So welcome back. This time around, I intend for this page to serve as a bulletin where we can write down tasks that aren't so easy to accomplish, but which are definitely worthy of collaborative effort on (other things can go on the forum pages). This way, we can more easily get tasks taken care of. New items can be added using the + tab. With that in mind, let's begin!
