- If a couple leaves the competition through any other reasons (other than eviction), then that couple will pick one of three pre-jury evicted couples to return. On Day 33, Estella & Jerry walked off the show, but still agreed to serve as a jury couple, meaning that there will be an eight member jury or a top 3 finale and a nine section eviction area, with the tenth being the finale. They chose to bring Daniel & Kayla in to replace them for their eviction, which was falsified into people's minds by Danielle & James, who were evicted the following week. Daniel & Kayla's return was well recieved by the remaining couples. Estella & Jerry then cited that their reason for leaving was to "sacrifice their position for Daniel & Kayla."
- Unlike the regular non-couples seasons, the final Head of Household will only be one competition held after the final four eviction and not a competition spread out over three parts.
