Description of the TV ShowEdit

In 1993, The X-Files, began on American television. This series was created by Chris Carter, and ultimately it ran for nine seasons, ending in 2002. Due to the popularity of the television series, there was also a feature film in 1998. The original first-run episodes aired on the FOX television network, but re-runs continue on may other networks.

Characters from The X-FilesEdit

A large part of the commercial success of the The X-Files was due to its stars, David Duchovny (playing Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (playing Dana Scully). In the final years of the show, Robert Patrick (in the role of John Doggett and Annabeth Gish (in the role of Monica Reyes) became major characters.
