Isn't psychopathy a lack of empathy? Serprex

I'm not a specialist, but from what I know some psychopaths also have a problem with finding excitement (So they kill to have fun) and some hear voices. But others just lie and hurt people with no concern with others. Maybe I can make him undiagnosed? Only criminally insane and hearing voices. --Nonimportant 19:44, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Ya,they lack the ability to be genuinely sorryUser:Serprex 23:43, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, many asylums are specially for criminally insane, but there are those that house people with more general mental disturbances, like schizophrenia . And this one is like those (Specially since it's for mildly insane, and because I need variety). The basic idea is that the owner is taking as many people as he can for little mental disturbances or uncommon behavior, to get government grants. I deleted the thing about stolen bread (But just because that's kleptomania, not graphomania, as you can see, I left the beaten the beggar part untouched) --Nonimportant 18:59, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes,true. So is mildly insane an actual term or is it mentally ill?User:Serprex 19:41, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Nah. I chose mildly insane for two good reasons: I find the words "mild", "rather", "quite" and "odd" funny, for some reason. And, it shows that the owner of the place has little to no idea of what he's doing. --Nonimportant 20:47, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Yet he can still outwit the government.PerfectUser:Serprex 20:59, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

It's no big deal. Forgers and con men fool people all the time. And besides, he still runs the establishment, so he has physical evidence of his work, even if it's faux cures on faux diseased. --Nonimportant 21:11, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Geez, what kind of story is this?? YZHSig   21:20, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

A person's POV of an institution for the mildly insaneUser:Serprex 21:54, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

All right... Do you think we ought to have a diary category? YZHSig   22:19, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

How many other articles are similar?User:Serprex 05:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

What is the guy writing on? Paper? just normal, ordinary, paper? --Modred. (talk) 00:17, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Ya,paper would be in supply upon query I'd thinkUser:Serprex 00:51, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Very interesting...I can't help but assume that the story here is about the deep-seated insanity lingering in the human mind. "It makes the pretty green colours in the Swush Magabar.;UdaeUU?UUUka/lsdjfovjl;"....speaks for itself. Lacrymosa 20:42, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes,I don't quite understand why the gibber was insertedUser:Serprex 21:01, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Because of the new drugs. They were making him numb-brained. --Nonimportant 21:17, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

This look likes a series of diary entries. Maybe we should create a Diaries Category? --Lacrymosa 21:47, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

First Person?Duno,is there really a demand?User:Serprex 22:08, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I have this little problem with remembering to put female characters (Except, usually, when the story is about them). --Nonimportant 00:41, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I think I should be working to finish this story already, it's good to pass the time, but it's getting too drawn out. I think I'd better get him a new medicine that makes him write less and less each day, until he stops altogether. And then a little surprise, thta I won't talk about right now. --Nonimportant 01:56, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

And he should at least hallucinate antsUser:Serprex 02:03, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Alright. Finished. Thanks for the help Serprex. I know it's not one of my best works, but I started it without any high goals. I just wanted to make something funny, confusing and about madness. But anyway...

You know the drill. --Nonimportant 23:46, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I think it ended srta loosly connected, thus it is neat as a story about a place instead of people, but its writes about people and its a firstperson perspective.Making it an interesting read in that way,but that could also work againstUser:Serprex 01:13, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

I loved the ending. I thought it was funny; it is one of my fave works on this site. Awesome job on this...--Lacrymosa-x.suffering 00:49, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

One of your fave works on this site? And I thought this was my worst work until now (After Notroswellville, that's saying a lot). But oh well, glad you like it. --Nonimportant 14:15, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Nice story. I think Igor, from Brainstorm!, could be a patient there. Controlling everyone's minds. I like sad endings but I liked the characters. Maybe if he went out and published his story, it would have been better, I think. Davichito... 20:51, 21 April 2008 (UTC).

All the characters are believable, even being insane. The descriptions are accurate and the ending is nice...
