Perhaps we should swap some worships and make Liches of Bane, the dark/magic seems to suit them better. Fiends would also seem to go well and I don't think we kept the idea of trading fiends for unique creatures with Vayrian...Serprex 19:04, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Trading minions
Yeah, I agree. Liches = death and necromancy, Bane = dark magic. Fiends = adultery/corruption and sins, Lamoth = destruction and corruption. --YZHchat/2000+ edits 21:31, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Good then.Serprex 21:33, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Don't you guys think that these liches look a little like the Oathbreakers from Return of the King? Ylfowvitfb 03:08, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't know, I've never seen a lich before. --YZHchat/2000+ edits 03:40, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I find the stuff with google, and these are pretty general showing of liches...I was introduced to liches through Tactics Ogre:Let Us Cling Together (jap version, couldn't read a word...)Serprex 17:49, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clearer Dark Lich text
- - The ritual of becoming a dark lich is shrouded in mystery, though it is known that it involves pain and has a conclusion of some sort of loyal trust in their acceptance through death, only revived if they are worthy.
- + The ritual of becoming a dark lich is shrouded in mystery, though it is believed it involves pain and ends with their death, to prove that they are loyal, from which they will be revived if they are worthy.
- - After rebirth, there are 4 possible conclusions; death, lesser lich, lich or dark lich.
- + After they die, Dark Liches might be reborn, possibly in a weaker form.
there should really be a part where it says that liches come back from the dead before it mentions that Dark Liches come back from the dead differently then other liches. Assuming that other liches do come back also. --from Modred. (speak to) 04:07, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Liches do die. They are only revived if it is through ritual,in which they must risk their lifeUser:Serprex 04:16, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
wait, they have to risk their lives to come back from the dead? after they are already dead? --from Modred. (speak to) 22:39, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm bad at explaining...okay,they are sort of dead but not really. They basically commit suicide in the ritual, and are reborn if it goes wellUser:Serprex 22:43, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
so, wait, the come back when killed during a ritual, but not other times?
if that is wrong then, is this right?:
- okay, so, if say, for example, a warrior came up to a lich and stabbed him (just for convience, let's say one stab would ordinarily kill) the lich falls to the ground, essentially dead, but not quite. He would attempt to perform a ritual of some sort which would bring him back. Right? Or is it that when he dies he or soul or something leaves his body and performs the ritual elsewhere/otherplanarly? --from Modred. (speak to) 23:15, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, the ritual doesn't just take a sitting so more the lich would take it on while perfectly well. But yes,if the lich had time it could strategically choose that time to take on the conversionUser:Serprex 23:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
a section about conversions (whatever they are) would be good to have --from Modred. (speak to) 01:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
