Wait a minute... Bless and Curse aren't spells, they're categories of spells! --Yunzhong Hou 01:16, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
True....Serprex 01:23, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Sadly to say, stuff like Planar Theory might be a subgroup in this section. If that is the case, we could also right a version of the Codex Replem, as it would of likely been quite brief.Serprex 15:35, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Maybe I'm Crazy
I was thinking that we could organise this in a different way. I know that alphabetical order will help find things easier but it makes it a lot harder to read.
[edit] magic items
where are they? do they exist? --Modred 04:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
That should be written of,though I havn't written much here.I'm more into the Bestiary,Deities and the Deity history.I did write the Dark Law,though. That'd be a good thing to include,be sure to include the idea of Factons.Serprex 12:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spells/Schools/Terms
Wouldn't this be easier to read if we had it split up into a few different categories? (seperating Spells and more specific instances from Factons and general things like Beings and Runic Scriptase). I will rearrange it if no one minds. But it seems like what it needs is a general explanation of how magic works in general --from Modred. (speak to) 23:27, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
There is a general page,lost in that list.So ya,go ahead and organize it.User:Serprex 23:51, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
I don't know much about magic, but I listed what looked like it belonged in Terms & General. --from Modred. (speak to) 23:59, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Maybe Yunz will help and make those nice multi column things,it'd be nice for this.2columns.Stuff like Dark Law need to be sifted also.User:Serprex 00:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Critic
These articles should have a more useful organization. I'm going to add an article called "Practice" (or Tactical, Practical, something like that) for these articles. I am going to mostly invent what is in it. But as long as it exists and example text is given, I think someone who knows about these things will then be able to take it and use the same idea to explain the working of Arcanery.
I don't really know any of these things, so pretty much the article will probably be filled with useless information mostly. But this information isn't concisely placed elsewhere (which it absolutely must be). Plus some of it might not have been decided yet.
It will include such information as;
- what casting a spell is like (IE: muttering strange words and waving there hands around, or whatever it looks like)
- Who can become a mage
- whether casting a spell drains the caster, leaving him Fatigued or Injured.
- how long casting a spell normally would take
- how complicated the spells are to learn, how long it would take someone to learn it
- how many mages there are, if there are schools that teach magic, that sort of thing
- whether magic can be used "spontaneously" in a fight or other situation in order to create (for instance) an explosion, or some sort of effect useful to killing enemies/warding off attackers.
Under Eutris it describes a form of magic. Is that form the only one? Would anyone who wished to create a magical effect use symbols drawn upon the floor? Or are there other methods avaliable?
I'm not sure if I'm gonna go make that article now, but I definately will make it eventually (every time I see this page the lack of this information just bugs me) --from Modred. (speak to) 00:37, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
One must be a conduit for the factons to be configured for the effect. How one does this is the casting.Factons are like the atoms of magic,or more like quarks.Perhaps their should be 2 types of factons?Positive and negative.NOTE:The words have nothing to do with their use,it is simply using scientific charge notation.User:Serprex 01:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
