[edit] Ancient Formation and Lore

An ancient family controlled much of the land around what would become Karabala. A wise woman had conquered the five native peoples of these lands and had a child with each of the highest members of the former ruling clans. As the Woman died her children remembered that their parents had told them that each was entitled to their fathers piece of her kingdom. Each one, however, wanted the entire kingdom and they waged war until the children were old and sick. Now all the clans had moved around the kingdoms land and had children with a diffrent clan leaving no pure clansmen. The five children entered into a trust the last one living was the rightful heir of the Five Kingdoms. Veressa of Reason lasted until 127 B.D. and formed the Five Kingdoms.

[edit] Pre-Invasion

The people of each province of the kingdom were happy and did not feel need to be the one ruling clan after the years of war they had endured. There was much political debate amongst the clan leaders however The Daughters of Reason had usually quelled all problems before they became too big. As the land neared its first destruction by the Ceritans political tensions rose dramatically between the Licid Family clan and the others. They had come out of nowhere and were a force too great for that kingdom to handle. Instead of the other kings helping they waited for Arkanros to fall so they could claim the land (which probably would have resulted in a bigger war). The Daughters of Reason pledged their army to the Arkanrosians and they eventually pushed back the Ceritans. The four kings that were waiting to take the land were upset that the daughters had helped them and began a civil war that would banish Arkanros from the kingdom and also damage the integrity of its people beyond repair.

[edit] Arkanros and the Invasion

The kings had saw what they had done to their peoples loyalities and integrity and thought the only way to fix it would be to destroy the banished Arkanros and their peoples. The plan backfired after two years at the Battle of Mountain Desert as the kings died in The Death of the Four Kings. The remaining settlements were ransacked and taken to Arkanros and The Five Kingdoms fell into despair. After they had loned help to destroy the Ceritans the kingdom began slowly to grow more strength. The Emergence of the Serdians stopped the growth as the Serdians destroyed the land, the kingdoms and forced The Daughters of Reason into Arkanros. Altexa of Reason gave the lands resources to Eastling Licid to help stop the Serdians.

[edit] Rebirth

In the booming years of the Second Age, five young men claiming to be heirs of the now destroyed Five Kingdoms venture to Arkanros and part of Serdia where the kingdom used to stand to survey if they could reform their throne. Deeming the land to be unsuitable for their use they sent most of their followers across the wasteland to search for new lands. The followers who left were dubbed the Baeliths and after some time in the wastelands they met an advanced nomadic civilization known as the Ego whose leader was a visionary and brainwashed the Baeliths into believeing what he thought was a perfect society. The Baeliths, not believeing that the heirs would try to reform the Kingdom into the perfect society, set out to kill them. Healed Muka'mador had been destroyed a century before the Baeliths had left, upon their return the land that he had ravaged thousands of years ago had healed itself to the point where the Baeliths were no longer needed and the kingdom was re-established during their time away. The Ego, possessing a deadly chemical weapon known as God Mist, released it around the Five Kingdoms sparking a war between The new Five Kingdoms and the Ego/Baelith Alliance. Declaring itself the Synath Republic they used the weapon known as Novas to destroy the kingdoms at The Battle of Shar'a san.
