Not so much a people as a culture, the Slave tribes of the Wastelands consist of countless small bands of fugitives, escaped slaves and bandits. They come from all walks of life and different civilized peoples and are true melting pots of race and culture. For one reason or another they can no longer live in thier home kingdom whether banished or fled and come to the Wastelands seeking a new but hardy life. They roam the Hills, tablelands and badlands and survive by hunting game and raiding Pan'touk camps, Warkuni villages, and other Slave Tribe hideouts. Life in the Slave Tribes is harsh and short but is the best alternitive when there are no obvious alternitives. One can't just join a tribe you must wander till you find one and are able to prove yourself to them through a series of harsh tests of loyalty and contests of battle-skills. Some slave tribes are known to horde treasures in the cave systems of the Spinok'ta'del mountains.
Tlahus the Braineater was a Serdian warrior banished from Serdia in the second age. He formed his own Slave Tribe and it became the most powerful group in the Wastelands. After decades of ruling and terrorizing the Wastelands, he led his tribe on a ransacking and pillaging spree of Serdian hives. The Serdian army then caught up with them and annihilated the entire tribe, executing Tlahus.
