The Baeliths were a colonial group sent by The Five Kingdoms in 13705 to cross the Wastelands into parts unknown. Supplied with enough rations to last at least multiple months, the group set out along a migration path of the Orynx which led through the Wastelands and may provide them with food if they catch up to the group.

[edit] Early History
The Baeliths early treks were met with relative success, having caught a small group of Orynx about half-way across the Wastelands which revived them for another year. Upon reaching the last few miles of harsh terrain, they confronted the Spinok'ta'del Mountains, the massive range which had never been successfully traversed before.
[edit] Journey through the Hills
Utilizing their advanced technology, the group began to trek up and through the Onderon Pass, confronted with such dangers as a vicious native tribe, savage beasts, and unforgiving weather, half the group was lost before they reached the summit. A marker was planted atop the peak, now known as Archyr's Stand, it was a solar powered beacon which emitted a bright red flashing light for all to see.
[edit] Descent and meeting with the Egos
The group sent three colonists back to tell of their success, but they were not to survive the descent back though. The rest of the group continued forward, reaching the Valley of the Divine Light. It was here that they saw a sight that would forever change their way of life.
A massive metropolis, Ilorian, marked passage through the valley. Marked with buildings which lapped the sky, the colonists were amazed to discover a technological wonder across such a barren gods-foresaken area. Upon meeting with the officials of the town, it was discovered that they were called the Egos. Many thousands of years ago, they had overthrown a tyrannical ruler, to establish a successful government and bring about centuries of peace, yet the tale of how the Egotist Revolution had brought about this peace was horrific, filled with tales of mass genocide, horrible weapons which brought entire ethnicities to their knees. It was with this thought clear in their minds that the Baeliths decided to cleanse The Five Kingdoms of tyranny by any means necessary.
[edit] Return to the West
Armed with new revolutionary technology, the Baeliths took three years to train, in which time The Five Kingdoms declared them a lost cause. It was in this despair that a massive army, led by one Ego general, Ool Kolith, and a single colonist Archyr Willis, crossed over the peak of Spinok'ta'del, and placed a second beacon, this emitting a pure white light, as an act declaring their wish to purify the now seen as barbaric eastern nations.
It would be another nine months before, in the capital city of the kingdoms, that war would be declared. Armed with a new toxic weapon, known as God Mist, the city fell under attack, and was soon raided and taken by the Ego/Baelith Alliance
