N/History/Oraganta Province

Fiction Wikia, the place where you can write fiction.

In 1350 AD, King Horadrim I formally established Oraganta as a province of Arkanros.

Starting in 1364 AD and ending in 1377 AD, the cooperation of the peoples of Oraganta was instrumental in defeating the giants to the southwest during the Giant Wars, and proved that humanity was the master of most of the Midworld. Later, in 1456 AD, Oraganta participated in the Intercontinental Wars against Gallorum. In time, Oraganta came to enjoy the fruition of successful magic developments in the Golden Ages, though not for long as the troubles of the Diabla Magia and later of Mordin plagued political affairs of the state.

In 1464, Queen Karabala I declared independence from Arkanros, and took control of Aniawu to establish her first matriarchy. The peoples of Oraganta were torn between staying with Arkanros or joining Aniawu, whose new leader pledged to respect the cultures and traditional rights of the Oraganta citizens. After a short period of severe crises, the greater part of Oraganta joined with Karabala. The lesser part which wished to stay were urged to fight against their brethren by their rulers to the north, greatly angering the peoples so much that they in the end gave way and joined with Queen Karabala I in 1466.

From the 1560's onward, the province of Oraganta has seen an unprecedented rate of growth owing to increased populations, improved technologies, and better relations to its neighbors Arkanros and the rest of Karabala across the Oraganta River. Oraganta saw rule by six Queens of Karabala, until 1597 AD when the Queen was overthrown due to poor economic situations (and a famine) and Prime Minister Endrin gained power.
