N/History/Oraganta Prehistory

Fiction Wikia, the place where you can write fiction.

Oraganta was founded by a small group of settlers as far back as Eternity's End. Before the Dawn of Ages, the population there had already developed significantly, with around 800 people out of the Midworld's 2000 humans calling the area home. These people were separated among three tribes: Devotion, Vigor, and Energy. These tribes were not as close to the Union of Five Tribes as those further north in Arkanros, and as thus they were frequently called by the others, especially those in the Union, as the barbarians. However, the peoples of Oraganta were no more barbaric than their northern brethren; they only lived in a different place and belonged to different tribes.

With the steady rise of the Union of Five, the residents of Oraganta, and especially the warlords of each tribe, became increasingly uncomfortable with the developments that they were seeing. The Oraganta peoples were not particularly powerful as a unit, and constantly had battles and skirmishes with those of other tribes, and therefore were unable to achieve the grandeur of the Union. Hence, the warlords realized that they would have to ally themselves against what they perceived as a common threat. Various alliances were formed, then broke down, as the warlords died naturally or were slain in combat, and as the Union of Five continued to swallow tribe after tribe over the ensuing centuries of the Classical Age under the Horador dynasty.
