The clouds bellowed smoke and so did the volcanic mountains as the half-bug half-man creatures poured out from the lands east beyond reason. Miners ran and mercenarys fled as no one could stop their bid for vengeance for their fallen brethern, the Ceritans. Within hours millions of them had infested the borderland of Arkanros.

The Serdians, 20 years before the first contact with the Arkanrosian race had noticed a few fleeing Ceritans, it wasn't long before they realized that most of them had been killed and the race was going extinct. The Certians were a very important people to the Serdians, religiously they had given birth to the race and them dying out was something that Muka'mador would not approve of. He rallied billions of his finest troops and began a harsh journey to the east to the find the cause of the Ceritans death.

Eastling Licid had almost turned the entire war against the humans around. After beating them in strategic battles and pulling Arkanros out of centuries of civil war the Serdians were pushed back to Licida where it would be almost impossible for them to be beaten. Eastling signed a treaty and two days later died, a statue of Eastling staring out at the nearest Serdian settlement was erected, if any Serdian were to go beyond the statue, war would be declared.
