The classical age saw the majority of the time that the Union of Five was in existence: from the rule of King Horador I to the fall of the Union, and subsequent rise of the First Empire and the Goblin War and Goblin Enslavement that occurred during that time period. The era ended with the advent of the dragons, as introduced near the end of the era. The era saw the introduction of religion, and the cultures and traditions of the Union were taken up by the barbarian tribe that followed its demise, the War tribe. Hence, the War tribe became more and more similar to the Union, even though it went by a different name. The Union of Five was the most stable and the longest-lasting kingdom ever to exist, and after its demise the successive rulers would all last for less than the five centuries of the Union.
