Scipios is one of the Lorym, a son of Vayrian and father to Balum. He is the god of ailments, blood, death, lies, reality and logic. Although Vayrian is the most powerful of all gods Scipios looked down on her creations in disgust and praised Lamoth and Bane. Early during the Chaos of the Gods Scipios abandoned Vayrian and fled to the service of Lamoth who had promised him death and destruction. Scipios was instrumental in starting every age. He bore children, the Ceritans, their prime design were to destroy the Five Kingdoms, who in Scipios's mind were the greatest abomination to the gods. His children worked flawlessly and anihilated the kingdoms. He thought himself impossible and was prepared to destroy all civilization. (Ironically this would have included the Serdians who worshipped his children as gods and went after the Licids). The kingdom of Arkanros was the gateway to the rest of the Midworld and eventually to Vayrian and the Mouth of Lamoth. Arkanros wiped Scipios's children off the face of the earth and enraged Scipios. He manifested himself once again and twisted the mind of Muka'mador forcing him to attack Arkanros. Rumor has it that Scipios will be the one to invoke years of pain and suffering 2,000 years from the retreat of Healed Muka'mador.
His brother, Bane, aids Scipios by joining forces for the goal of Genocide and allows Scipios to draw forth Fiends so that Scipios may be able to use his body, which is more tuned with outer-Abyss planes, so that the Abyss may grow in its frontiers and follow its war for nihilism.
During The Chaos of the Gods, Scipios banished his Fiends to the Abyss so that Vayrian would create for him the race of Serdians.
