Thought to be connected with the Coming of The Dragons, Mordin joined the liches' race by the Second Age. His connections with the liches would continue when revived as a dark lich in 12333 after being executed in 9332 at Xabuvio. Mordin was the last survivor of the Guild of the Crimson Tear. Taking up the negligible amount of loyalists from the Order of the Black Jewel, Mordin attempted to reestablish the cult.

Mordin died in the year 9332 but was reborn in 12333 as a dark lich.
