Wurms are found within The Great Salt Flat, and are a species of lesser docile Dragons. Wurms only have a sense of touch, and are very sensitive to vibrations. They are a pale white in color and live off of a simple salt motabolism to power themselves.

Wurms are many times the first target of a Dragon Slayer. This is due to the ease of finding one compared to the others along with the relative ease of slaying one compared to the others. They are the runt of Drake and can only defeat their foes by wrapping their pale bodies around the victim. They inhabit the Great Salt Flats, where they burrow within. Due to their simple genetic structure, they reproduce through fragmentation, like planarians.

Most wurms spend much of their time beneath the surface, away from the sun. They can feel vibrations however, and can swiftly ambush their prey from below. Black Wurms are able to stay on the surface longer, however.
