A werewolf.

Werewolves are a race of creatures who transform into wolves during Olin's brightest phase. Created by Olin during the Chaos of the Gods the race has expanded greatly since. A werewolf bite will transform its victim into a werewolf at the showing of the full moon. With the exception of the Vulkolarks a werewolf in his wolf form has low intelligence, being prone to impulsive nonstrategic behavior.

In appearance werewolves are much like wolves, such as having fur, but also of human size and vaguely human shape. Their arms and legs also resemble a human's, with the difference being longer and more lean, along with having very little fat and more muscle.

Werewolves primarily inhabit Netopyrus.

[edit] History

Historically werewolves lived in Castle Bloodbelt, where they were born into a lower social status then the Vampires, who ruled. However After the First Grey Crusade the Werwolves abandoned Castle Bloodbelt and, under the leadership of Varkadis Vulkolark, built Vargulf.

In 366 AD Varkadis Vulkolark was married to Queen Valach of Castle Bloodbelt, bringing Netopyrus under strong werewolf influence; and making Werewolves and Vampires equals.

The Vulkolarks, descendants of Askeethzel (one of the Akaharu), were the ruling family of Vargulf. The Vulkolarks, unlike their minions, can transform at will and the shape they bear, as human or wolf, is much more fearsome than other werewolves.
