The Medusa Squid is a squid which releases a venom to destroy the nerves of the victim. Because the main target is the neck, the body is almost always paralysed. Because of the amount of time it takes to come into effect, many victims of the venom feel as if they are turning to stone due to stiff joints. The Medusa Squid guards the Mouth of Lamoth, where they will attack any even when there is no threat.
