A Husk is a creature that is created from the poison of Death Flowers. A human Husk has black dolphin-like rubbery skin and has spines that protrude from all over it's body, these spines act in a way similar to those of a Death Flower; see Poison below.
Husks are believed to be half-living, like Vampires, this belief arose mainly from the similarities betweent the two in resisting injury. Husks also have a deadened appearance.
[edit] Powers
A Husk is remarkably resistant to injury, A Husk could be cut in half and it would not flinch at any amount of pain, Husks live to create more of themselves. Other then this and their poison Husks have no special powers, beyond long life and sometimes greater physical prowess.
[edit] Poison
A Husk's spines carry a deadly poison, similar to that of a Death Flower, except that a Husk makes a second generation Husk, which will have a shorter lifespan, will be less resistant to injury, and will have shorter spines. With each generation being weaker then the last. After five generations a Husk is little more then an insane human with rubbery skin, a tenth generation Husk doesn't have enough poison in its spines to turn other creatures into Husks.
[edit] Mentality and Physical needs
Husks seek out dark places to live in, they do not appear to eat food, what they live off of is unknown. However, it is theoried they may use raw factons.
