Blood owls are a breed of owls native to Netopyrus. Their wings are a crimson red, while their black eyes seem as if they are torn. They are extremely ferocious, and generally come out to challenge bands of travellers, even in daylight. They are so fierce that they have eradicated most other owl species in the region. Blood owls are known to even prey upon werewolves.
