Varkken is the name for two islands outside the Great Sea that consist of nine divided regions:

• The Elvinland
• The Tribal Plains
• The Kingdom of Ahtar
• The Dominion of Fehr-ah
• The Mountainbacks

on one island and on the other:

• The Kingdom of Grimi
• The "Badlands"
• The Savage Territory
• The Holy land

The islands were discovered by Feer Varkken when he fled from the attack on his fellow Myrds by Emperor Emper.
