A Secondary Inside has only recently become available with the invention of the Genesis type of spell. This spell creates a "bubble" of sorts that is isolated from both the Outside and from the Primary Inside (the Asset Universe). The Secondary Inside then serves as a place to store things, including the creating spellcaster, who could use it for practice with magic or for simply private concerns.

Demesnes often involve creation of a personal Secondary Inside. Before the invention of Genesis spells, demesnes had to be kept in places that were well-hidden and had to be hard to detect.

Organizations may have a shared Secondary Inside; only those who have been inducted can be given access to the Secondary Inside.
