Medicamancy is the art of medicinal or curative magic. While often it is used as a counter to physical injuries of the normal variety, sometimes it may be necessary for use against injury caused by certain types of magic.

Medicamancy is a complicated art, and generally only the elders of any particular society know enough about it to be able to use the spell in the way desired. Youngsters and even adults who try to cast complicated Medicamancy are extremely likely of causing the problem to get worse. The discipline involves understanding of how the body works, and requires complicated spells involving the replication of miniature microspells to the formulation of a complex solution that can be medically administered.

In the Neverending Wiki world, Medicamancy came about only within the final few decades, when it replaced general surgery/anesthesia and all the other barbarian 'curative' crafts.
