There has been a growing debate of the merits of the creation mythos, the Chaos of the Gods. A group of persons who believe themselves to be "enlightened" with the truth find that the mythology is total trash, and that scientific backing must be found for everything. They point to the evolution of species and of starscripts as evidence of their belief in evolution.
Their diametrically opposed rivals are creationists.

Unfortunately, magic has by this point become so convoluted that it is now quite impossible to distinguish between the truth and lies, as even magic is relative. Loricans may never know which side is correct.
