[edit] Creationism

There has been a growing debate of the merits of the creation mythos, the Chaos of the Gods. The majority of people in Lorica still hold that the mythology is true, though as evolutionists point out, there are several discrepancies in theory. It always turns out, however, that these discrepancies become fixed rather rapidly, and are fixed by the creationists themselves, so eager are they to keep the mythos alive. Members claim that starscripts and species are just too complex to have developed merely by chance.

The greatest proponents of creationism are priests, possibly because their work depends on its being believed by the populace.

Their diametrically opposed rivals are evolutionists.

[edit] Finding the truth

Unfortunately, magic has by this point become so convoluted that it is now quite impossible to distinguish between the truth and lies, as even magic is relative. Loricans may never know which side is correct.
