The Imperial Ministry of Agriculture, also known as the Ag Ministry, is a government department of the Laurasian Empire tasked with managing agricultural and horticultural production throughout the Empire. The Ministry develops and executes imperial laws related to farming, forestry, colonial and rural economic development, and food. The Ministry is tasked with meeting the needs of commercial farming and livestock food production, promoting agricultural trade and production, assuring food safety, protecting natural resources, and fostering agricultural communities, colonies, and outposts throughout the Empire.
The Imperial Minister of Agriculture is a member of the Imperial Privy Council, and is thereby a direct subordinate of the Emperor.
