The Iciliac are a race of elves who live in the cold icy regions north of Aeternitas. They dwell in great ice palaces and use the winter deer, and Ice Bear as beast of burden. Their skin is pale blue and they dress themselves in great furs. Of all the elf races, the Iciliac alone survived the wrath King Horador I cast againt the elves he met, this was due to the climate of their region being too harsh for his people.

The Iciliac elves began as a small group of elves huddled in the barren cold of the north. There was Icilia, Indis, Idirion, Imralla, Igmal, and Itchya. Icilia and Indis built a shelter and made a fire for the others. The six began three great lineages. The lineage of Icilia and Indis, the lineage of Idirion and Imralla, and the lineage of Igmal and Itchya. Of all the tribes they became the strongest and slowly they consumed their neighbours one by one, until they dominated as far south as the Aeternitas Highlands. The three family lineages fought and squabled for years until eventually the Iciliac line won out. In celebration, Icilia's oldest daughter, Incindilus, constructed the Aveon Valis. The palace of ice was 800 meters tall. Their craft grew and they perfected the art of creating cities from ice. Later, metals were discovered in the Crown Mountains that bordered the very edge of the Midworld and metal was used in all of the Iciliac's craft forever after. During the reing of King Horador I, the Iciliac sent several garrisons of troops to support the Silian elves. the troops never returned. After this the Iciliac secluded themselves to the north. They feared mankind, and later deployed themselves across the Great Sea.
