Forums: Index > Featuring > May 2009

[edit] Procedure

The goal is to feature some fiction wikia content (usually three stories) on the main page each month.

You may nominate any number of works for the 3 featured fictions of May 2009.

Vote for as many of the nominees (listed below) by signing directly below the nominee and giving a vote quantity. You must:

A quorum of at least 3 users must participate in the voting to legitimize the featured fictions. On the first day of the new month, the 3 nominees with the most votes will become the new featured fictions of May 2009 and do so with equal status. The current consensus for featuring are:

  • 3 works per month, to be updated simultaneously
  • Only stories, scripts, poetry, and conworld subprojects are allowed
  • Works are considered regardless of language
  • Works must be either complete or have a good rating like 7/10

2 vote. Very well thought out. It makes you think about your life and what you should do with it!--God'sGirl94 13:38, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
3 vote. I liked it.

4) An Alien Wife committed Adultery and tricked her Husband. - any story with a title that long and with a "." at the end is worth featuring! --JWSchmidt 15:58, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I've changed the title to make it a sentence. The story shows the potential of collaborative work since Chaucer wrote the original, the leader of a creative writing group suggested rewriting it with aliens in place of humans, then I wrote the story and JWSchmidt gave feedback. Incidentally Chaucer probably got the plot somewhere else as well as he wasn't always original. Proxima Centauri 16:25, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm glad you were not offended by my silly attempt to joke about the title...it is really the story that I like. --JWSchmidt 01:29, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
