Note: This was an old (during July!) forum page for discussing featured content for August. Two stories were nominated (Heart of a Ninja - A Tale by The Ninja Writer and Moon Hammer) and those two stories will be featured during August.
Procedure[]
Members of the community should nominate worthy Fiction Wikia pages (usually stories) as candidates to be featured on the main page during August. The goal is to help stimulate participation and story writing collaborations. Useful non-story pages such as reviews and blog posts can also be nominated as featured content.
Selection process[]
It is assumed that people who nominate a page (provide a link to the nominated page) are also voting for the page if they sign their user name after the nominated page (yes, feel free to nominate and vote for your own work). If other wiki participants like the nominated content, they can edit this page so as to indicate their support (add "support" or "I like it!" and your signature under the nominated content in the list, below. The nominated pages with the most votes at the end of this month will become featured content on the Main Page during next month. Previously featured content can be featured again, but new (not previously featured) content will get first priority.

- Heart of a Ninja - A Tale by The Ninja Writer -- The Ninja Writer ---------- A story I just started to work on. Only a little bit is done. It's about a teenager in Japan who witnesses a ninja assassination (this takes place in the Sengoku period of Japanese history. This is the time of samurai and ninja). He starts to follow the ninja, and eventually becomes one himself. He and his master discover a plot to assassinate the warlord Oda Nobunaga, and try to stop it.
