Aniawu is the eastern region of Karabala.
Aniawu is the third most productive land in the known Midworld after Oraganta and Arkanros Proper.
Relatively poor of natural resources, it is, however, well-located to the eastern boundary and well accessible for foreign traders from mysterious eastern realms, in Karabala commonly called Anshan. There are also, of course, traditional high-volume trade routes between the area and Arkanros.
The locals, originally, were as harsh and ruthless as their land itself. With the time they became skilled and resourceful traders and local-patriots who support their land whenever they can. Needles to say, the land and its industries flourished throughout mileniae allowing development of refined arts and luxuries.
Mercenaries who wish to be hired quickly and get paid well, come there to either protect caravanes or take part in countless guild wars. Nevertheless, due to the harsh competition, only few of them are allowed to grow old.
