The Exterra SyndicateThe Exterra Syndicate is the largest organized crime family in the city. While they don't particularly have a monopoly on crime, they're rumoured to have enough firepower to take on the Vanguard without much trouble. It is for this reason that they are largely ignored by the Vanguard. With Orville Granger as the current figurehead of the Syndicate, it has risen from the depths of the cesspool of crime to be a reigning force. The Syndicate is ruthless, vindictive, and in majority control of deadly weapons within the city. It is common knowledge that one just does not mess around with the Syndicate. They basically run the black market in the city. Everything from Memex and Fabex, to weapons and illegal technology. They deal with contract killings, narcotics and prostitution. Syndicate members often use the atmosphere provided by The Cosmopolis to perform their backroom deals. In closing, the Syndicate are a dangerous bunch, and should be avoid at all costs. |
