A poem written by Andrew Wood.
All I want, really, is a simple life.
No strife, no, just a simple life.
A life without hate or fear,
a sneer, or non-alcoholic beer,
Just to live at peace,
Just to be released,
In the grip of power,
earning £5.56 an hour,
just grow my own flowers, yes, keep it simple,
admiring a happy smile and dimple.
Too much news,
most of which, in which, we lose.
All I want is something to put me in first gear.
A simple life. Devoid of hatred, taxes and fear.
That's what I want.
